Hey y’all! I feel like I haven’t put out a newsletter in forever. Sometimes that’s because I’ve got no news to share, but usually it’s because I’m underwater in all the other things that go into writing and publishing and living in general. Recently, it’s been the latter. BUT it’s all good things, including putting the finishing touches on the sequel to A New Lease On Death before I hand this baby off to my fabulous editor.

	Buzz is building! A New Lease On Death is making the rounds through early readers and reviewers, and the feedback is overwhelming and exciting! People are loving this quirky, darkly humorous supernatural mystery. I seriously can’t wait until this book hits the shelves on Oct 29 (just in time for Halloween!)
	Whole BUNCH of appearances and events October and November Hopefully the next time I send this newsletter out, there will be some specifics but I’m working with my incredible team and some absolutely amazing authors to set up some VA/DC/MD/WV appearances and events to coincide with the release of A New Lease On Death on Oct 29. 	To Cozy or Not to Cozy? A New Lease On Death isn’t a cozy. It’s a little darker. It’s a lot snarkier. There are adult themes and situations that wouldn’t fly in a cozy. I LOVE writing cozies – they’re fun and playful. I’m not done writing cozies, not by a long shot, but I also enjoy dipping my toes into other genres – and A New Lease On Death is a “genre bender.” I was absolutely thrilled when an early reader described A New Lease On Death as “Sweet and Spooky” (but not scary!), because that’s exactly what I was going for. So give it a chance and pick up A New Lease On Death on Oct 29th!
	Vinyl Resting Place large print now available!!! I’m so happy that Vinyl Resting Place is now available in Large Print! As someone who struggles to read printed books, especially at the end of the days when my eyes are tired, large print books are such a huge blessing.
