What I’m Reading
I know I’m hit-or-miss about adding this section to my newsletter, but know that I’m always reading! This month is no different. Here’s some of my favorites that are coming out in November:
Alanna Martin is back with the third novel of the Hearts of Alaska series: LOVE AND LET BARK. This sweet & steamy romance is set in a small town in Alaska where a generations-old feud can’t stand in the way of true love. Oh, and the love interest? A firefighter with rescue husky puppies. You’re welcome! (Nov 30)
Sarah Grunder Ruiz’s debut novel LOVE, LISTS, AND FANCY SHIPS (Nov 23) is magnificent. What should have been a carefree vacation of checking off the bucket list turns into an unforgettable summer as Jo and her nieces learn to deal with the unexpected death of her nephew. Often hilarious and sometimes heartbreaking, you’ll want to hug your loved ones a little closer after reading.
MIDNIGHT HOUR: A CHILLING ANTHOLOGY OF CRIME FICTION FROM 20 AUTHORS OF COLOR is another book I’ve been anxiously waiting for. It’s got short stories from some of my favorite new & established mystery writers. You might just find a new author in this fantastic collection! (Nov 9)
Last and certainly not least, I can’t get enough of Stephanie Plum! GAME ON by Janet Evanovich is out now and it’s burning a hole in my Kindle. I see a long weekend in my future where I turn off the phone and see what Steph is up to this time!
